Trescuestas 2019 is a red wine aged for aprox 9 months in French oak barrels with one or two years of usage. The grapes used to elaborate this wine are coming from the Pago of Tres Cuestas in Mucientes
We can speak of a “Vino de Pago” since the grapes are coming from one vineyard, a 40-year-old vineyard located at an altitude of 780 m above sea level. The soil is made of clay, formed by fine reddish brown grains that retain water providing structure and character to the wine.
Trescuestas 2019 macerates for 14 days. The Malolactic fermentation takes place in deposit and then Trescuestas ages in used barrels for 9 months. After that, it stays for at least 12 months in the bottle.
