Traslanzas 2018 is the first modern-style red wine produced in D.O. Cigales, made exclusively with grapes from only one “Pago”, Traslanzas. The age of this vineyard cultivated following the traditional uses and customs, along with a production of less than one kilogram of grapes per vine and a respectful way of working, make this wine possible.

Elaboration 

Traslanzas 2018 macerates for three weeks after having done the alcoholic fermentation. Afterwards, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in autumn, in new French and American Oak barrels. Remaining in the casks for around 14 months undergoing a weekly movement of its fine lees.

Tasting

• Red cherry with garnet rim and a high layer.
• On the nose, strong an elegant aromas, ripe black fruit, liquorice, spiced.
• Remarkable body, balanced and round, with sweet tannins and a great length in the mouth.
